Technical field
The present utility model relates to the technical field of an outdoor parasol, in particular to a dismantlable umbrella base.
Background art
As an outdoor leisure accessory, parasols are widely used in places of leisure such as squares, beaches, parks and courtyards, providing people with a comfortable space in which to enjoy the cool.
Existing umbrella bases for parasols come in various forms, and use a variety of materials. To maintain a balance with the canopy, the umbrella base is always large, or of heavy weight. In general, a fillable hollow base is commonly used at present; an umbrella handle insertion hole is provided in the base, and the entire base is integrally formed by plastic injection moulding. During use, the base is filled with a filler such as water or fine sand to balance the centre of gravity of the base, so that the base is more stable after insertion of the umbrella handle. However, umbrella bases with such a structure are often very large in volume, and very heavy, not only making transportation inconvenient, but also increasing the costs of manufacture, packaging and transportation.
After investigation, the existing Chinese utility model patent “Parasol base facilitating umbrella handle fixing”, with patent no. CN200720052619.2, comprises a fillable hollow base; a connection tube is provided in an insertion hole in the centre of the base, and an end of the connection tube is connected by screw-thread to an umbrella handle sleeve. The sleeve is a two-layer structure; multiple through-slots are provided in a sidewall of an inner-layer sleeve to form an elastic snap ring, and a screw-thread is provided on an inner wall of an outer-layer sleeve. A conical inclined surface of the connection tube mates with the elastic snap ring of the umbrella handle sleeve, pushing the elastic snap ring to close towards an inner side of the sleeve, clamping the umbrella handle. The umbrella base enables umbrella handles of different specifications to be gripped, and can thereby prevent the umbrella handle from wobbling in the base hole and causing wear to the hole wall, extending the service life of the umbrella base. However, the base is in a single piece, and cannot be dismantled, so the volume is large, which is not convenient for packaging and transportation. At the same time, the structure is relatively complex, and this will inevitably make production complicated; not only are the moulds complex, but the production cost is also increased.
Content of the invention
The technical problem to be solved by the present patent application is to provide, in response to the current state of technology described above, a dismantlable umbrella base, having the characteristics of a simple and rational structure, and convenience of use.
The present patent application employs the following technical solution to solve the abovementioned technical problem: a dismantlable umbrella base, characterized in that the umbrella base comprises a sleeve, and supporting tubes disposed on a periphery of a lower end of the sleeve; an upper end of the sleeve is connectable to an umbrella handle, and a lower end of the sleeve is provided with a transfer head connected to the supporting tubes; the supporting tubes are at least three in number, are arranged so as to be spaced apart along a circumference with the transfer head at the centre, and are each removably connected to the transfer head.
As an improvement, the supporting tube is a hollow tube that is sealed at a front end and has an opening at a rear end; an externally threaded post, which is connected to the transfer head, is formed on the front end of the supporting tube; an internally threaded hole, which mates with the externally threaded post of the supporting tube, is provided in an outer side of the transfer head; and the supporting tube is removably connected and fixed to the transfer head by screwing the externally threaded post into the internally threaded hole of the transfer head.
As an improvement, a tube stopper is removably plugged into the rear end opening of the supporting tube in a sealed manner, and a supporting plate, for placing a weighting block to increase the stability of the umbrella base, is removably provided on two sides of the tube stopper.
As an improvement, an inner end of the tube stopper is formed as an insertconnection part, which mates with and is insert-connected to the supporting tube; a corresponding insert-connection hole is formed at the rear end opening of the supporting tube, and an outer end of the tube stopper is provided with a through-hole for the supporting plate to be passed through.
As a further improvement, the supporting plate is a structure with an L-shaped longitudinal section, the through-hole of the tube stopper is a corresponding Lshaped through-hole, and the weighting block is placed on the inside of two adjacent supporting plates.
As a further improvement, a middle part of an upper end face of the transfer head is provided with a centre hole for insertion and fixing of the bottom of the sleeve, and the bottom of the transfer head is a flat surface facilitating stable placement of the umbrella base.
As a further improvement, the supporting tubes are three or four in number, arranged so as to be spaced apart evenly along a circumference, and the transfer head is a triangular prism or quadrangular prism structure corresponding to the number of supporting tubes.
The sleeve is a tubular structure of a size complementing that of the umbrella handle, and an upper end side part of the sleeve is provided with a locking rotary knob for tightening the umbrella handle after the umbrella handle is inserted.
Finally, the sleeve is on the outside and the umbrella handle is on the inside, or the sleeve is on the inside and the umbrella handle is on the outside, with the two being connected to each other in a nested manner.
Compared with the prior art, the advantages of the present invention are as follows:

Particular embodiments
The umbrella base according to the present patent application is described in further detail below with reference to the embodiments in the accompanying drawings.
Figs. 1 - 5 show a dismantlable umbrella base, comprising a sleeve 1, supporting tubes 2 and a transfer head 3. The sleeve 1 is a tubular structure of a size complementing that of an umbrella handle 71 of a parasol 7. Generally, the sleeve 1 is on the outside, and the umbrella handle 71 is on the inside, with the two being connected to each other in a nested manner. Alternatively, the sleeve is on the inside, and the umbrella handle is on the outside, with the two being connected to each other in a nested manner. An upper end side part of the sleeve 1 is provided with a locking rotary knob 11 for tightening the umbrella handle 71 after the umbrella handle 71 is inserted. A lower end of the sleeve is provided with the transfer head 3 connected to the supporting tubes 2. The supporting tube 2 is a hollow tube that is sealed at a front end and has an opening at a rear end; the interior thereof may be filled with weighting material such as sand. There are 4 supporting tubes 2; they are arranged so as to be spaced apart evenly along a circumference with the transfer head 3 at the centre. The transfer head 3 is a quadrangular prism structure corresponding to the number of supporting tubes 2. A middle part of an upper end face of the transfer head 3 is provided with a centre hole for insertion and fixing of the bottom of the sleeve 1. The bottom of the transfer head 3 is a flat surface facilitating stable placement of the umbrella base. An externally threaded post 21, which is connected to the transfer head 3, is formed on the front end of the supporting tube 2. An internally threaded hole 31, which mates with the externally threaded post 21 of the supporting tube 2, is provided in an outer side of the transfer head 3. The supporting tube 2 is removably connected and fixed to the transfer head 3 by screwing the externally threaded post 21 into the internally threaded hole 31 of the transfer head 3. A tube stopper 4 is removably plugged into the rear end opening of the supporting tube 2 in a sealed manner. A supporting plate 5, for placing weighting blocks 6 to increase the stability of the umbrella base, is removably provided on two sides of the tube stopper 4. An inner end of the tube stopper 4 is formed as an insert-connection part 41, which mates with and is insert-connected to the supporting tube 2. A corresponding insertconnection hole is formed at the rear end opening of the supporting tube 2. The supporting plate 5 is a structure with an L-shaped longitudinal section. An L-shaped through-hole for the supporting plate 5 to be passed through is provided at a rear end of the tube stopper 4, thus facilitating withdrawal of the supporting plate 5. The weighting block 6 is a heavy object such as cement or marble, placed on the inside of two adjacent supporting plates 2, and has the effect of adding weight, making the umbrella base more stable. Since the supporting plate 5 is L-shaped, it facilitates the stable placement of the weighting block 6.
Furthermore, the number of supporting tubes 2 could also be designed to be 3, 5, etc., according to the size of the parasol.
To assemble, the tube stoppers 4 with the supporting plates 5 installed therein are plugged into the rear end openings of the supporting tubes 2, the front end externally threaded posts 21 of the 4 supporting tubes 2 are screwed into the internally threaded holes 31 of the transfer head 3, the umbrella handle 71 of the parasol 7 is inserted into the sleeve 1, and the assembly can then be used. If it is desired to increase the counterbalancing of the umbrella base, the tube stoppers 4 may be pulled out, and a heavy, dry material such as sand may be poured into the supporting tubes 2 to add weight. During use, if the parasol 7 is large, weighting blocks 6 of a material such as marble or cement of corresponding specifications may be deployed, and placed on the inside of the supporting plates 5; the counterbalancing of the umbrella base can thereby be increased greatly.
When packaging and transportation are to be carried out, the supporting tubes 2 are removed and placed alongside the sleeve 1, and the supporting plates 5 are pulled out of the tube stoppers 4 and placed alongside the supporting tubes 2, thereby greatly reducing the volume. If the umbrella base is to be packaged and transported together with an umbrella frame, the umbrella handle 71 is inserted into the sleeve, then the operations in the previous step are repeated.
The embodiments above are merely preferred embodiments of the umbrella base according to the present patent application. It should be pointed out that a person skilled in the art could perform a number of improvements and embellishments without departing from the technical principles of the present patent application; such improvements and embellishments should also be regarded as being within the scope of protection of the present patent application.
